Aberdeen defender Michael Hart is ready to end his injury torment at the weekend.
The defender has yet to taste any action this season due to a groin complaint, but has pleased the club's medical team in recent weeks and has been pencilled in for a return against Hibernian.
Having seen Hart come through a reserve outing with no ill-effects, Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood is ready to let the defender off the leash.
"Michael did really well in the reserves," Calderwood told the Daily Record. "It didn't look as if he had been away.
"We'll see what he feels like the rest of the week, but I'll be very surprised if he isn't in the squad for the Hibs game."
