ABERDEEN boss Steve Paterson is preparing a triple swoop on Falkirk for Jamie McQuilken, Mark Kerr and Lee Miller.

Paterson is looking to bring in at least four new players to Pittodrie for the start of next season and he is hoping the uncertainty surrounding Falkirk's promotion could see him land his targets for a bargain fee.

The Dons boss revealed the Falkirk trio were on his wanted list for some time, but he feels he may be priced out of a move for Miller, while Dundee United are also interested in Kerr.

"Miller, McQuilken and Kerr are three players who have been on my list since I came to Pittodrie in December," said Paterson.

"I am particularly interested in McQuilken, who is still under contract. He fits the bill in terms of the type of player I am after.

"Miller also fits these requirements but the transfer fee may prove to be a stumbling block.

"He's a top young Scottish prospect but I think we will be talking about too much money to get him.

"But it would be great for Aberdeen if I can bring even one of these players here."
