The two brothers, striker Derek and midfielder Darren, are both out of contract in the summer, but Paterson seems delighted about how they have performed since his arrival.
Goalkeeper David Preece has also caught Paterson`s eye, and could be offered a new contract as well.
Paterson said: "I think the fans, who have been asking who will be staying at the club, will have seen how well Derek, Darren and David have reacted to the challenge.
"If players are giving their all for the team then I`m delighted for them to remain.
"The Youngs have been here for quite some time and they show most weeks that they play for the jersey, and that means a lot to me."
