SCOTLAND defender Russell Anderson has been discharged from hospital and will join his international team-mates for the flight back to Glasgow.

The Aberdeen player was carried off in Scotland's 2-0 defeat by Portugal in Braga after suffering from concussion.

Anderson admits he cannot remember much of the incident apart from hearing the physio's voice.

"I got out at 3.30 this morning and I don't feel too good at the moment," confessed Anderson.

"I'm not sure exactly what happened. I think it might have been the goalkeeper that caught me.

"I don't really remember much about it, I don't think I was unconscious as I remember hearing the physio's voice on the pitch."

Anderson seems set to miss the weekend match with Partick Thistle.
