Rangers will hold their emergency general meeting on March 6 at Ibrox.

The location for the meeting has been changed three times, with two London hotels deciding they did not want to host it because of security concerns.

It was decided earlier this week that Ibrox would be the location, and on Friday morning it was confirmed that it will take place on March 6.

In the latest announcement, the board set out two questions for major shareholder Dave King, who called the meeting in a bid to remove the current directors.

The questions asked King are: "What his business plans are in regards to the future running of the club and, in particular, how he intends to finance the club going forwards?" and "What action he intends to take to avoid the suspension of the company from trading on the London Stock Exchange (and the subsequent risk of being delisted from trading) should shareholders vote him onto the board, as previously outlined in the announcement made on 6 February 2015?"

That announcement claimed the club's nominated advisor, WH Ireland, would  resign if King, who admitted 41 counts of income tax offences in South Africa in2013, was appointed to the board, prompting the suspension of trading on the stock exchange.

On the same day King said: "I stated that Paul Shackleton's historic role in governance failure rendered the nomad unfit to continue - hence they will not need to resign, they will be replaced."

King is looking to replace David Somers, James Easdale, Derek Llambias and  Barry Leach with himself, fellow former oldco Rangers director Paul Murray andJohn Gilligan.
