Andy Little is hopeful of a return to Rangers' starting line-up for this weekend's clash against Peterhead.
The striker has been out of action for the past month after picking up a knee injury in the champions' 1-0 victory at Elgin City.
And with 25 goals to his name already this season, the Northern Irishman is desperate to add to that tally at Ibrox on Saturday.
"Hopefully I have a chance of playing against Peterhead. I don't want to curse myself and we're taking things day by day," he told the club's official website.
"I'm not happy to sit where I am and I want to finish the campaign well. I want to try to get a few more goals if I can.
"To be honest, I don't think we really realised how serious it was when I first hurt it against Annan.
"I personally didn't think it was as bad as it was and if I'd allowed it to settle down then I might have been back much quicker.
"I tried to play against Elgin because it was a big game for us but I probably shouldn't have and maybe didn't do myself any favours there."
