Robbie Crawford says he hopes his goals this week for the first team and the reserves will earn him an opportunity of making his first senior start for Rangers.
The young midfielder made a good impact in the weekend Scottish Cup thrashing of Alloa, scoring the fifth goal in a 7-0 win 19 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
And he was also on target in the Light Blues reserve team's 4-2 success in midweek.
Crawford's goals at Ibrox and in Kirkcaldy could fast-track the 19-year-old into a midfield start soon and he said: "It was good to score at Raith and the goal was well worked.
"I was pleased with the finish after being really pleased on Saturday with the way the team had played. Going forward, I thought I was better than I have been and I took the confidence from scoring then into the reserve game.
"I'm really happy with the way this week has gone and hopefully I've done enough to stay involved in the first team this weekend.
"The reserve team is a great platform for us all to show what we're about and why we should be stepping up.
"Hopefully I've done enough to feature against Peterhead. I'd like to think I'll have a chance although competition for places amongst the reserves is fierce. It's a big game for the club though. We're looking to build momentum after the Alloa win because everyone was really pleased with that."
