Toon midfielder may extend loan deal until end of season

Haris Vuckic has admitted Cardiff City could be ready to extend his loan move from Newcastle until the end of the season. The 19-year-old Slovenian has played in four Championship games for the Bluebirds after making the temporary switch on 9th February. The attacking midfielder is enjoying life in South Wales and has admitted he may remain longer than the initial month. "Cardiff City is a great club and Cardiff is a great city. Everybody welcomed me with open arms and the manager trusts me," Vuckic told Zurnal24.

Playing regularly

"The most important thing is that I'm playing regularly. That is why I came to Cardiff City. So far I can't complain. "I also scored my first senior goal in England. I hope there are many more to come. "I speak regularly with Newcastle United. They are following me and are giving me advice. Will I stay beyond 10th March? I don't know yet, there is a chance that this will happen. We will see. "The clubs are the ones who will decide my future. But I would like to play as much as I can until the end of the season. "Newcastle United is my club and I went to Cardiff City to return even better and stronger."
