Rangers manager Ally McCoist has admitted even he is seeking answers after they entered administration this week.
The Gers legend remains a fan of the Light Blues and he has been as surprised as anyone following the 'revelations' in the past few days after Duff and Phelps took control of the Scottish champions.
The administrators were called in over an unpaid tax bill accrued since Craig Whyte's takeover last May and McCoist is against going into great detail ahead of their weekend clash with Kilmarnock.
It will be a sell-out contest against Kenny Shiels' men on Saturday and while McCoist knows how important it is for the club to go on, he feels more for his players and the staff's livelihoods.
Revelations
"I have to inform you that I am as surprised at some of the revelations as the next man," explained McCoist. "Of that there is absolutely no doubt.
"The one thing I would say to you is that I'm a Rangers supporter and I want some answers, I would like some answers.
"Today probably isn't the right time to go into that in greater detail. The most important thing for everybody at the club is the game.
"But like every Rangers supporter, I would like one or two questions answered."
Importance
Asked if he has spoken to owner Whyte since the club went into administration on Tuesday, McCoist replied: "No."
The Rangers boss added: "The way things are currently, my most important thing is focusing my team on the game. That is our immediate concern.
"In the grand scheme of things in terms of the administration the worrying thing is for the staff because we are talking about people's livelihoods, we're talking about people's jobs here. This is the biggest problem that we're facing.
"You can talk about what you like. The three points (on Saturday) is vitally important. The league campaign is still important, but more importantly than that we're dealing about people's livelihoods and we're talking about their future and our football club."
