Scotland boss George Burley insists he has no problem with Lee McCulloch in the wake of reports to the contrary.
Speculation has suggested the Rangers man does not want to be considered for international selection while the former Southampton coach is at the helm.
The winger has not featured in any of the new manager's squads since he took the reins in January.
However, Burley insists his decision to overlook the 30-year-old has not been driven by a personal feud.
"Lee has not spoken to me at all. I have no problems with Lee, he is a very good player," Burley said.
"He has been injured and hasn't been playing for Rangers and I can't pick a player who is injured.
"I am sure Lee will speak to me but I am not aware of any problem at all, so this is a big surprise.
"I am sure he will explain if there is a problem but I don't have a problem with the boy."
