Dado Prso expects to make a decision on his career within the next three weeks.
Dado Prso expects to make a decision on his Rangers career, and his long-term future, within the next three weeks.
The Croatian striker's Ibrox contract expires at the end of the season and he is unsure whether to stay in Glasgow.
But Prso is also facing a trip to his specialist next week for a further check on his long-term knee complaint.
The 32-year-old concedes he may have to retire in the summer as crunch time approaches regarding his future.
"Maybe in two or three weeks I'm going to make my decision with the club and we are going to know what's going to happen," Prso told Sky Sports News.
"If not this year, it's going to be next year I think," he added with regards to retirement.
"If you become a little bit older, and you have some injury, you know you are going to stop one day.
"Like I said, if it's not this year, it's going to be next year.
"The most important thing is to go and see my specialist and see how things are going.
"I really don't know in this moment what it is going to be. It's a tough decision and I need a little bit of time."
Prso joined Rangers on a free transfer from Monaco in 2004 and has scored four goals in 24 SPL appearances this season.
