Rangers boss Paul Le Guen has confirmed that he will drop goalkeeper Allan McGregor this weekend.
McGregor has filled in admirably in recent weeks with both Lionel Letizi and Stefan Klos injured.
However, Frenchman Letizi has now recovered from a calf strain and he will be restored to number one against Inverness on Saturday.
"It is Lionel who will play against Inverness," said Le Guen.
"That is my line of conduct.
"I met Lionel and Allan and it is my job to make this decision.
"I am used to speaking with Billy Thompson (Rangers goalkeeping coach) so I knew Allan was a very good goalkeeper and that was confirmed by his performances.
"I was not surprised. I know that he is able to do very well for us, but it is my choice.
"I met Allan and he is not happy, but I am not there for them to be happy.
"I think he will stay respectful, though, because he knows it is an honest decision.
"When you do not play, you are less confident. But the most important thing is that there has been a discussion between us."
