Riordan has been trailed by a host of clubs in recent months, including a number from the continent.
Anderlecht and Nurnberg were linked earlier this month and Kaiserslautern had a bid rejected last week.
However, Rangers are now looking to keep Riordan in Scotland - although rival offers could yet be made.
