Hearts moved back to the top of the Scottish Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over Dundee United.

Paul Hartley (pictured) put Hearts ahead as early as the fourth minute, before Czech stars Rudi Skacel (26) and Michal Pospisil (57) fired home to seal victory.

Rangers' dismal run of form continued at Ibrox as they were held to a goalless draw by Aberdeen - they are now some 12 points adrift of Hearts.

Hibernian came from behind to deny bottom of the table Livingston their first win of the season.

Livi went ahead through Greg Strong just before the break and looked to be heading for victory, until Hibs grabbed two goals in the last seven minutes.

Dean Shiels levelled matters on 83 minutes before Garry O'Connor (86) fired home to give Tony Mowbray's side the victory.

Kilmarnock and Motherwell remain fifth and sixth respectively, after they played out a 2-2 draw at Fir Park.

Kris Boyd put Killie ahead, but goals in either half from Scott McDonald (24) and Brian Kerr (54) looked to be enough.

However, the prolific Boyd was on hand to strike three minutes into injury time and claim a share of the spoils.

The final game saw Inverness claim a 2-1 victory over lowly Dunfermline at The Caledonian Stadium.

The Highlands outfit were two goals to the good after just nine minutes thanks to Ian Black (5) and David Proctor (9).

Lee Makel pulled one back for The Pars with 17 minutes left, but it was too little too late for Jim Leishman's men.
