Rangers stormed back to the top of the SPL with a 4-1 win over Motherwell at Ibrox.

Belgian international Thomas Buffel broke the deadlock for the home side on 12 minutes to ease any nerves.

Arveladze doubled the lead five minutes later with a fine finish to put the home side in firm control.

The Georgian international made it 3-0 on 54 minutes and Buffel grabbed his second of the contest three minutes later.
