McLeish demands response

Alex McLeish has called for his Rangers squad to show more resolve.

Rangers manager Alex McLeish has admitted his side must show more resolve after a last minute defensive error cost them victory against Inverness last weekend.

The Ibrox boss acknowledges that his team's title challenge hinges on their ability to produce an immediate response.

"It's up to us to go to Dundee on Sunday and show we are capable of fighting back," McLeish told The Daily Record.

"I think it is a measure of a team how you react to a disappointment.

"We have to pick ourselves up and get on with it and I'm sure this squad can do that.

"We now have nine matches left and essentially we have to win them all.

"This squad has that determination and spirit to do that."

French defender Gregory Vignal's blunder cost Rangers the win against Inverness and McLeish was not impressed.

"It was a routine error that cost us the goal," continued McLeish.

"We've dealt with this kind of thing pretty well this season so it was quite incredible we didn't deal with it."
