Rangers regained the lead in the Scottish Premier League with a convincing 3-0 victory over third-placed Hibernian at Ibrox.
Rangers' Nacho Novo missed a penalty, but it did not stop The Gers easing to a straightforward victory that puts them back ahead of Celtic.
Dado Prso gave the hosts the lead on 35 minutes and doubled his tally five minutes after the break.
Thomas Buffel added a third on the hour mark, and Celtic are now playing catch up when the play on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Dundee United picked up a 2-0 win on their trip to Livingston with Stevie Crawford and James Grady on target.
Hearts made up ground on Edinburgh rivals Hibs with a 3-0 victory over Kilmarnock.
Soulius Mikoliunas and Lee Miller were on the scoresheet for Hearts, sandwiching an own goal from James Fowler.
Steve Lovell's brace gave Dundee a 2-1 victory over Motherwell, despite Scott McDonald's goal for the visitors, whilst Dunfermline grabbed a 2-1 win against Aberdeen.
Simon Donnelly's late goal gave The Pars a win, after Zander Diamond had cancelled out Billy Mehmet's opener for the hosts.
