Celtic defender Jason Denayer is expected to start in the Europa League last-32 clash against Inter Milan on Thursday.

The on-loan centre-back suffered an injury during Sunday’s 4-0 Scottish Premiership victory over Hamilton Accies at Celtic Park, and was substituted at half-time.

Kris Commons, who missed the 3-3 draw with Inter in Glasgow last Thursday because of a hamstring injury, returned against Accies and netted twice.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has no fresh injury concerns but may face a silection dilemma up front.

Leigh Griffiths was rested on Sunday after playing for 75 minutes in the first leg, but his replacement John Guidetti has enhanced his chances with his stoppage-time equaliser and another goal in the win over Hamilton.

Deila may opt for the experience of James Forrest in midfield over Gary Mackay-Steven in his starting line-up.

Inter goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo will replace Samir Handanovic while boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed Rodrigo Palacio, who scored two goals at Celtic Park last week, will play alongside Mauro Icardi in attack with Fredy Guarin just behind.
