Celtic striker John Guidetti is targeting a hat-trick when his side take on Old Firm rivals Rangers next month.
The Swede made a impressive start to life in Glasgow - netting 11 times in just 12 games - but the on-loan Manchester City striker has failed to score in his last six appearances.
However, Guidetti is backing himself to become the first Hoops marksman to grab a treble against Rangers since Harry Hood in 1973 when they meet in the League Cup semi-final on February 1.
Asked if he fancied himself for a goal in the match at Hampden Park, the 22-year-old said: "I fancy three. That is what I did against Ajax when I was with Feyenoord and that is the aim this time.
"The dream would be to score - but the most important thing is we win against Rangers. Big games are what I love the most. That is why I wake up in the morning."
Guidetti, who scored a hat-trick against Partick Thistle in the last round, limped out of Saturday's 1-0 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in Gran Canaria with a dead leg but he has no worries about his recent scoring drought.
He said: "My confidence is fantastic. The best strikers in the world can go 16 or 17 games without a goal. People want to make a massive thing about going six games without a goal.
"It's not a massive thing for me. Diego Costa went four games without a goal a few weeks ago and no one mentioned it - but when John Guidetti does the same it's the biggest thing in the world.
"I take it as a compliment. People think if I don't score then something must be wrong in the world. But let's be honest, with a bit of luck I could have scored eight goals in those six games. It happens.
"I had a bicycle kick that I scored (against Motherwell) but was ruled out when it wasn't offside. Once they start coming, they will come thick and fast, I know it."
