Falkenbergs sporting director Hakan Nilsson has confirmed the Swedish club have received no contact from Celtic over manager Henrik Larsson.
Nilsson told Sky Sports News he has spoken to Larsson and expected the manager to complete at least the current domestic season, which lasts until November.
Larsson was a hugely popular player during his time at Celtic Park and has emerged as a strong candidate to replace Neil Lennon, who resigned as first-team boss on Thursday.
But Falkenbergs have confirmed there has been no contact between the two clubs.
"I've spoken to Henrik today and he's staying with Falkenbergs this season," he said. "In Sweden the season runs until November so that is not an issue for us anymore.
"We don't worry about that at the moment, we have a game on Saturday and we're just focused on that.
"We are very happy with Henrik as our manager and we hope he will continue with us for this season and hopefully for the next season too.
"I don't know anything about that (an approach). We haven't heard from Celtic."
