Dundee United's loan signing Milos Lacny is aiming to prove Celtic were wrong not to offer him a contract last summer.
The Slovakian striker had a trial with the Bhoys and he was convinced manager Neil Lennon would keep him on.
Lacny is now in the SPL after joining the Tangerines on a 12-month loan deal from Czech side Sparta Prague.
The 23-year-old is focused on doing his best under manager Peter Houston, starting with Sunday's trip to Rangers.
Certain
"When I was on trial with Celtic I was 100 per cent certain I would be offered a contract," explained Lacny.
"It was enjoyable and I did well but at the end of the day things did not happen.
"I know they have good strikers at Celtic but I would have felt confident competing with them. But it didn't happen so I moved on and am glad to be with United.
"Now I want to use my time here to show Celtic they missed out by not signing me. And it would be good to get a goal against Rangers to prove that.
"That is a big game and to play at somewhere like Ibrox will be a good experience. Hopefully we will get a good result."
Offers
Lacny claims other clubs were interested in his signature, but he is pleased to be at Tannadice.
"I am pleased to be here. I enjoyed being on trial and wanted to sign," he continued.
"There were other options at other clubs but I thought this was the best move for me at this time in my career.
"I wanted to come to Britain to experience playing in a foreign country."
