Neil Lennon claims his search for a new goalkeeper does not mean that Lukasz Zaluska is destined to lose his starting role.
The Celtic boss has been in the market for a new shot-stopper all summer, but has so far been left frustrated in his efforts.
With no arrivals on the horizon, Zaluska has started the season between the sticks for the Old Firm giants.
He was named man of the match in Saturdays 5-1 victory over Dundee United and has no intention of stepping back down to the bench.
Lennon believes he has every right to believe that the number one jersey is now his and has moved to reassure the Pole that his position is safe.

Asked if Zaluska's place would come under threat if and when he lands a new keeper, the Bhoys' boss said: "That's not necessarily true. When we brought Lukasz in last season he did very well.
"He is playing well and he had no chance with the goal.
"But I need to bring a keeper in because if Lukasz gets injured then we only have Dominic Cervi and nobody else.
"So it is important that I bring another keeper regardless of Lukasz's form - and he played very well today.
"We know he is a good goalkeeper."
