Celtic have refused to confirm reports they are looking at Dundee Utd's Lukasz Zalusk.

Strachan quiet on goalkeeper rumours

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has refused to confirm reports he is looking at Dundee United's Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Zalusk. The Parkhead club are believed to be eager for shot-stopping reinforcements as Poland international Artur Boruc recuperates from knee surgery. But Strachan has remained tight-lipped on the speculation ahead of Sunday's trip to Hamilton. Strachan said: "I can't confirm anything. We never speak about players when they are at another club. "John Park (football development manager) and his lads are looking at every position, and if we can find someone better and bring them along then we will try to do that.

Chill

"If not, we will work with the lads we've got. We have sent Artur away for a couple of days. "There is nothing we can do so he might as well go and chill somewhere and we will see him next midweek and see how he is then." Meanwhile, United boss Craig Levein has spelt out his desire to keep hold of Zalusk. "I think the right thing for Lukasz to do at the moment is to stay here," said Levein. "He has made significant progress in the last three or four months and I think there is more to come."
