Non-league Deveronvale produced the shock of the round as they held on for a 5-4 victory in a thrilling match against Elgin in the Scottish FA Cup third round.
The Highland League side looked like they were cruising towards an easy victory as they went four up before the half-hour mark with goals from Mark Chisholm, Ian Murry, Mark Smith and Mike McKenzie.
Martin Johnston then pegged two back before Graeme Watt looked like he had sealed the game for Deveronvale with a goal to make it 5-2.
Steven Mckay then scored in the 70th minute before Johnston completed his hat-trick to bring Elgin within one goal.
But Deverondale held on to secure a famous victory thats put them into the next round of the Scottish FA Cup.
Third division Morton produced another shock as they came from behind to beat SPL side Kilmarnock 3-1.
Colin Nish opened the scoring for Kilmarnock with a goal on 47 minutes.
But Morton rallied and fought back with a brace from Christopher Templeman to take the lead.
Paul McGowen then made it 3-1 late on to knock Kilmarnock out of the Cup.
There was no shock at Celtic Park however as the hosts cruised to a 4-0 victory against Division Three side Dumbarton.
Maciej Zurawski bagged a brace early on with two goals inside ten minutes that effectively sealed the game.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Derek Riordan made it four as the SPL leaders ran away with the match.
Division One side Airdrie United went down 1-0 to SPL outfit Motherwell.
Richie Foran scored the only goal of the game as Motherwell progressed to the next round.
Falkirk made light work of Division Three side Berwick Rangers with a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Alan Gow broke the deadlock early before Liam Craig scored in the second-half to put Falkirk in the hat for the next round.
Division One leaders Gretna cruised to a 3-0 victory against fellow promotion challengers Clyde.
David Graham opened the scoring in the first-half before goals by Eric Paarpalu and Colin McMenamin completed an easy victory for Gretna.
Kevin Byers equalised in the dying minutes of the game as Brechin forced a replay against Cowdenbeath.
Patrick Clarke opened the scoring for Cowdenbeath in the first-half before Byers equalised in the 90th minute in the all Division Two affair.
Dundee and Queen of the South were evenly matched as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Derek Lyle's first-half goal was cancelled out by Sean O'Conor to ensure the tie would be forced into a replay.
Livingston made sure of victory with three second-half goals against Hamilton to win 4-2.
Two goals from Graeme Dorrans and one each for Steven Tweed and Joe Hamill gave Livingston a place in the fourth-round draw.
Manchester United and Liverpool target James McArthur scored in the second-half to further his growing reputation but could not do enough as Hamilton went out of the cup.
John Robertson scored after 15 minutes to give Partick Thistle a 1-0 win over fellow Division One rivals Ross County.
St Johnstone and Ayr United played out a goalless draw as both sides ensured they would be in the hat for the next round.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle trounced Stirling Albion 6-1 in a one sided affair.
Inverness got off to the best possible start scoring two quick goals by Craig Dargo and Dennis Wyness before David O'Brian pulled one back to give Stirling hope.
All hope was then lost as three goals were then added before half-time as Roy McBain, Dargo and Barry Wilson made it five. Alan Morgan then added sixth in a relatively subdued second-half.
Hearts ran out comfortable 4-0 winners against Division Two side Stranraer.
Andrius Velicka scored in the 91st minute to ensure he left with the match ball and Roman Bednar scored on 79.
