Celtic striker Derek Riordan is hoping he gets more opportunities to impress after scoring on his full SPL debut against Motherwell.
Riordan was on hand to tap home at Fir Park to give The Bhoys a lead, although the league leaders had to settle for a point thanks to Darren Smith's late leveller.
The former Hibernian ace was delighted to open his Celtic account, but was even more disappointed his strike was not enough to secure maximum points.
"I never worried because I've not had much of a chance to be honest," explained the former Hibernian ace.
"That's my first start in the league so I've just got to take my chance when it comes.
"I was quite quiet in the second half I thought but I created a few chances, got a few shots in and got a goal so I'm happy with that.
"It has been a long time obviously so I was delighted with a goal, but just disappointed with the result, that's the main thing."
