Celtic defender Gary Caldwell is set to be sidelined for about a month after suffering an ankle injury.
The Scotland international picked up the problem during Celtic's 3-0 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle last weekend.
He was then replaced by Bobo Balde for the UEFA Champions League win over Manchester United on Tuesday.
The full extent of the injury has not yet been determined but coach Tommy Burns does not expect to see Caldwell back in action for a few weeks.
"He landed awkwardly in the game last week and, at this moment in time, he is still under review," Burns told stv.
"But I think it will be a couple of weeks before Gary will be back in training and possibly another couple of weeks after that before he will be back playing.
"He is under review and we are just taking it a day at a time and easing him back into it."
