Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc has played down his save from Louis Saha's penalty in the 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Tuesday.
Boruc denied Saha just before the final whistle to seal Celtic's qualification to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League after Shunsuke Nakamura had fired them ahead minutes earlier with a stunning free kick.
Boruc has now explained that he guessed which way to dive after Saha had scored past him from the spot in United's 3-2 victory at Old Trafford.
"I don't know about it being a great save from the penalty. Every time a keeper saves a penalty it's luck, that's all," he said.
"I was thinking about the last penalty he scored against me and I thought he might do the same thing, that's what was on my mind.
"We were celebrating in the dressing room when someone came in the with news that we had qualified and so there was a double celebration."
The Polish shot-stopper also remained modest about his save from Saha moments before the penalty, as he rushed from his line to deny the Frenchman, who appeared to believe he was offside.
"I didn't see that he was offside, I just played on."
