Gary Caldwell feels the next two games will dictate if Celtic qualify for the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League.

The Bhoys currently sit second in Group F after beating FC Copenhagen 1-0 last time and play host to Benfica on Tuesday.

Caldwell predicts Manchester United to win the section and believes Celtic and Benfica are battling it out for the runners-up place.

"They're going to be big games," Caldwell told Sky Sports News ahead of the first meeting with the Portuguese giants.

"They're looking like the key games in the group.

"Manchester United have a double-header with Copenhagen and you would expect them to take full points.

"If we can come out of this double-header on top, we'd be favourites probably to pick up the second place."

Since losing to United in their first group game, Celtic have won six consecutive games, with Caldwell admitting confidence is high within the Bhoys camp.

He added: "We're very confident at the minute. We are looking forward to each game as it comes along.

"We had a great win on Saturday and this game can't come quickly enough for us."
