Barca striker crisis to boost Bhoys

Due to injuries and suspensions Barcelona look likely to start with Luis Enrique as their centre forward in next week's Uefa Cup tie with Celtic.

With Javier Saviola suspended and Patrick Kluivert still not recovered from injury, Frank Rijkaard's options up front are severely limited.

The Dutchman normally prefers to employ one out and out striker with Ronaldinho playing just behind in a more withdrawn role.

The Barca boss could use young hit-man Sergio Garcia, who has impressed for Barca B this term notching 10 goals, but looks more likely to turn to 33-year-old Luis Enrique.

The versatile former Real Madrid star was used in the role in the club's recent league match with Mallorca and scored in a 3-2 win.

However, the news is sure to be a boost for Celtic who are looking to preserve a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg.

Also missing the return leg for Barca will be Thiago Motta (suspended) and Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Luis Garcia (both injured).
