Ross County fans have been urged to attend an open meeting at Victoria Park on Wednesday 4 February as part of the Staggies Together initiative.

The club, who will lay on soup and sandwiches for those attending, are eager to get feedback from supporters and look at new initiatives that can benefit everyone connected with the club.

Supporters will have the opportunity to have informal discussions with club officials before a formal meeting is held.

Among other items on the agenda will be the matchday experience, supporters' club incentives, travel to away games and a question and answer session.

County manager Jim McIntyre rang the changes to his under-performing squad with six signings in January, but is glad he can now concentrate on matters on the pitch.

Forwards Craig Curran, Darvydas Sernas and Raffaele De Vita, midfielder Ruben Palazuelos and defenders Cameron Burgess and Marcus Fraser were all brought in during the last month.

McIntyre told the Press and Journal: “It certainly does distract from day-to-day duties. I found myself spending far more time with my mind occupied on other things.

“I think most managers will be glad it’s over. We have our squad now and can just focus on the games. January is not an easy transfer window. It is one where we were constantly getting CVs and video footage sent to us."

County are six points adrift of Motherwell and St Mirren at the bottom - but have a game on hand on both sides - with 15 games of the season remaining. They travel to Aberdeen on Saturday.
