Ally McCoist will hold talks with the Rangers board before deciding if he will attend Monday's annual general meeting.

The Gers manager, who watched his side beat Livingston 2-0 at Ibrox on Saturday, admitted he still does not know if he will show up.

The shareholder summit is expected to be a stormy affair as the club's directors are grilled by angry fans.

Rangers at least got back to winning ways after last week's capitulation at Queen of the South thanks to an early goal from Fraser Aird and Simon Mensing's second-half own goal.

McCoist, whose side were playing their first game since it was confirmed he was standing down in 12 months, said: "I will definitely speak to the board in the next 24 hours and see if I am required to go or they want me to go.

"I am not sure I am required to go. I don't know what the legalities of it are. If anyone wants me there, I will be there.

"Will I stay away unless I'm told to go? No, that is not the case. I will have a chat about it. I don't think this is a massive issue at all.

"I think Walter Smith used to go to some of them. I don't know if he went to them all. I know I went to one last year, but I don't think it is a massive issue."

Mark Burchill was in caretaker charge of Livi after the club sacked John McGlynn on Tuesday.

But the ex-Celtic striker does not know how long the Almondavle outfit will let him keep the job.

He said: "I've been given the job until the end of the season and the club can't look any further than that because of the five-point deduction.

"But I'm here for the long-term at Livingston and I've told the players that. I believe with that kind of determination and bravery, we'll stay in this league."
