Fraser Aird refutes any suggestions that Rangers have a disciplinary problem.
The League One champions appeared fortunate to finish last Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Hearts at Tynecastle with just one man short.
Full-back Stevie Smith was sent off after a challenge on Callum Paterson halfway through the first half but veteran strike duo Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd escaped red card despite also making wild lunges towards the end of the match.
We haven't had any other red cards this season
Although Smith's red card was the club’s first this season, defender Bilel Mohsni was handed a three-game ban for lashing out at Hibs defender Liam Fontaine.
But Aird is unconcerned: "We haven't had any other red cards this season," he said. "That was our first one so I wouldn't say we have a disciplinary problem at all.
"These things happen in football. Tackles are made and it's just part of the game. There are red cards all the time. You see it when you watch the highlights of any games.
"It has been spoken about and we just need to get on with it now. That is it over and it won't happen again."
As for the Gers trailing Scottish Championship leaders Hearts by nine points, Aird is equally unconcerned: "Rangers have been nine points clear before and not won the league," he said.
“It's not even Christmas yet and we still have to play Hearts twice more. It's not over yet."
