Celtic captain Scott Brown will undergo a scan after suffering what appears to be a hamstring injury against Rapid Vienna on Sunday.
The midfielder was carried off after pulling up inside the first minute of the pre-season match and could miss Celtic's UEFA Champions League qualifier against KR Reykjavik on July 15.
Brown stood motionless in the centre circle clutching the back of his upper leg before attempting to leave the field on foot. However, the pain was clearly too severe and he was forced to take to the stretcher.
After the match, staged to mark Rapid's final game at their Gerhard Hanappi Stadion, Celtic manager Ronny Deila said: "Scott has an injury. We think it is a hamstring but we don't know yet how severe it is.
"Hopefully it's not big and he will be back quickly. He will have a scan and we will see what happens."
Celtic, who drew the game 1-1 after Teemu Pukki's 70th-minute strike cancelled out a seventh-minute own goal by Virgil van Dijk, open their Champions League qualifying campaign in Iceland next week.
