Melbourne Victory are set to sign Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic on loan until the end of May.
The 21-year-old is expected to finalise the move on Tuesday and boss Kevin Muscat is pleased to be able to add him to his options for the Hyundai A-League and Asian Champions League campaigns.
Rogic has struggled to make an impact since leaving the Central Coast Mariners to join Celtic over the summer, making only seven appearances for the Scottish champions, the last of which came in November.
He needs more playing time to try and secure a place in the Australia side for the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
"There has been a lot of interest in Tom's immediate future ahead of the World Cup and we are very pleased that his club, Celtic, has decided that Melbourne Victory is the best fit for him at this stage of his career," said Muscat.
"Tom is a talented young player and we look forward to seeing him grow even further during his time with us, both in our domestic competition as well as the Asian Champions League."
The club have also confirmed that midfielder Mitch Nichols is set to sign for Japanese J-League outfit Cerezo Osaka.
