St Johnstone have signed striker Michael O'Halloran from Bolton on an 18-month contract.
The 23-year-old former Scotland U21 international had been with Bolton since August 2010 but failed to break into the first team, making only two substitute appearances in the League Cup and FA Cup during the 2011/12 season.
He was loaned out to Sheffield United later that campaign and also had loan spells with both Carlisle and Tranmere last term.
Saints manager Tommy Wright completed the deal for O'Halloran after his early release was secured from Wanderers and he will provide extra cover up front in the absence of Steven MacLean.
O'Halloran could now make his St Johnstone debut in Saturday's Scottish Premiership game against Ross County in Dingwall.
