St Johnstone coach Callum Davidson is calling for a repeat display of the recent trip to Norway, when the team takes on FC Minsk on Thursday.
Saints pulled off a major surprise as they beat Rosenborg 1-0 in the away leg of their Europa League preliminary tie earlier this month.
And following a disciplined display in a 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park last week, the Perth side have set up the trip to Belarus as their European adventure continues.
Davidson expects another tough encounter, but he reckons St Johnstone learned much from the previous round to stand the team in good stead for Minsk.
"Going away, it's about patience again and adopting the same approach as against Rosenborg. These former Soviet Union sides are all of a good standard so it will be very tough," Davidson said.
"But we've got quite an experienced team. Maybe only two of our key players are among the younger ones.
"It's over two legs so it's about staying in the tie over there."
