Kilmarnock have confirmed Allan Johnston as their new manager.
The Rugby Park club were without a boss since Kenny Shiels was sacked earlier this month.
Johnston led Queen of the South to the Second Division title and the Scottish Challenge Cup, when they beat Partick Thistle on penalties, last season.
The 39-year-old, who became manager at Palmerston Park in May 2012, spent five years as a Kilmarnock player between 2004 and 2009.
The deal will see Queens receive about £30,000 in compensation, with Johnston and assistant Sandy Clark signing two-year contracts at Rugby Park.
A Kilmarnock statement read: "Kilmarnock Football Club is delighted to announce our new management team of Allan Johnston and Sandy Clark.
"The management, staff and players all wish Allan and Sandy the very best in their new positions and look forward to the forthcoming seasons."
