Partick Thistle will play in the SPL next season after winning the First Division title with a 2-0 win at Falkirk.
The Jags only needed a point, but goals from Andy Dowie and Chris Erskine's goal sparked wild celebrations among the visiting fans.
Manager Alan Archibald thought the performance epitomised the side's great season.
He told Sky Sports: "They've been fantastic for the whole season but the last 12 weeks they've been brilliant.
"They've had a really tough run of games in the past few weeks and a lot of people doubted them but they've shown great character for such a young squad and they deserve it".
More than 2000 Thistle fans made the trip and the manager also paid tribute to the role their crowd have played in the success.
"They were fantastic today but they've been like that all season, they've got us over the line a few times.
"And in the past few weeks they've turned out and got us over the line, especially when we were down to 10 men a few weeks ago, they cheered us on right to the death and it made a difference."
