Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Ross Draper admits it was an easy decision to sign a new deal at the club.
Draper has been rewarded for a fine debut season with Caley with a new one-year contract with his previous deal due to expire in the summer.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a key member of Terry Butcher's side and has been played a key role in helping Caley reach third spot in the SPL.
"I am very pleased to sign a contract extension and get it sorted out before the end of the season," he said.
"It wasn't a hard decision with the club doing so well and competing for a top six finish and a place in Europe next season.
"I am enjoying my time up here in Scotland and finding the SPL a very good competitive league. I am looking to continue working hard for the team to have a strong finish to the season."
Draper's agent, Mustafa Mehmood of Inspire Sports Management, admitted the former Shrewsbury and Macclesfield man was happy to pledge his future to Inverness.
"Ross has been playing very well for Inverness and has been a big part of their success this season.
"I am pleased he has been duly rewarded with a one-year contract extension having adapted well to life in the SPL after becoming a mainstay in the midfield for Inverness.
"Ross has made a comfortable transition to Scotland's Premier League which is credit to his ability and hard work.
"Ross is looking forward to continue working with Terry Butcher."
