Dundee United playmaker Willo Flood hopes 'something can get sorted' to prolong his stay at the club.
The 27-year-old's contract expires in the summer and new boss Jackie McNamara has confirmed he would like to keep hold of the player.
Flood, who scored in United's 3-1 win over Hearts at Tannadice last weekend, is enjoying his football and has indicated he would be happy to stay.
He told the Daily Record: "I'm enjoying my football and if you're enjoying your football, you're happy.
"We'll wait and see what happens. I'm sure the club will speak to my agent over the next few weeks and we'll take it from there.
"I haven't even given it a second thought to be honest. I've just been concentrating on trying to win games for United.
"Hopefully something can get sorted out and if not we'll just take it day by day."
