Ross County have secured their third signing of the current transfer window with the arrival of German striker Steffan Wohlfarth at Victoria Park.
The 29-year-old has most recently been playing for Wehen Wiesbaden in Germany's third division and follows ex-Hibs forward Ivan Sproule and Greek defender Evangelos Oikonomou in moving to Easter Ross.
Both Sproule and Oikonomou featured in the 4-1 win at St Mirren last weekend, with Sproule grabbing the headlines with a predatory brace but Oikonomou also impressed seasoned observers with an assured debut at left-back.
Manager Derek Adams told the North Star: "Whilst we knew we had to add to the squad, it was important that it wasn't just numbers - anyone we bring in has to add something to what is a great group of players already at the club.
"We've had to cast the net far and wide to achieve that whilst working within our budget but with Ivan, Evan and now Steffen I think we've proved that it is certainly possible."
County hope to gain international clearance this week for Canadian defender Andre Hainult while defensive midfielder Mark Corcoran, who moved north to Dingwall in 2010 from Partick Thistle, has been released.
