Sky Sports understands that Italian giants Juventus have made checks on Celtic star Gary Hooper.
The English striker is currently in talks about his long-term future at Parkhead, but he has yet to sign his deal despite manager Neil Lennon pushing for him to do so.
He has been strongly linked with a move away from Glasgow after a string of impressive displays, including in this season's Champions League.
The 24-year-old joined Celtic in 2010 from Scunthorpe and has scored more than 50 goals in that time, hitting the net at a better rate than every other game.
Interest from England is known to be high with Liverpool, Newcastle and Southampton all said to be considering January bids.
But now Sky Sports understands that Hooper's displays have not gone unnoticed elsewhere in Europe and Italian giants Juventus have posted scouts to check on him and the reports have been favourable.
Hooper's current deal at SPL champions Celtic has 18 months left to run.
