Three of Celtic's most promising youngsters have commited their long-term futures to the Scottish champions.

Scotland internationals Charlie Mulgrew and James Forrest, and Wales full-back Adam Matthews, have put pen to paper on four-year deals.

Boss Neil Lennon has been keen to tie his sought-after stars to lucrative deals and will now turn his attention to other members of his squad.

Central defender Thomas Rogne and midfielder Victor Wanyama are two attracting attention and from south of the border and Lennon is hopeful of a similar commitment from the pair.

Mulgrew, who came through the ranks at Parkhead, said: "It's good to get it signed and now I can fully focus on football.

"All the players at this club understand what we are about and for me, growing up as a Celtic fan, I understand fully what the fans expect of us.

"Celtic is a massive club and there is big pressure here, week in week out. But we understand that and everyone is happy here."
