Neil Lennon: Celtic manager has enjoyed his best week yet
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has enjoyed the best week of his managerial career, culminating in an outstanding win in Moscow.
The Bhoys followed up their 0-0 draw at home to Benfica in the Champions League to surprise many by beating Spartak 3-2 with the help of Georgios Samaras' 90th minute winner.
The SPL champions had also travelled to Russia on the back of going top of the domestic table after beating previous leaders Motherwell.
"It was a great start to the week, none better I suppose," said Lennon. "Winning at Motherwell last weekend and going top of the league and then beating Spartak in Moscow.
"The character, quality, pace - everything you dream of all came to fruition that night.
"But I don't think you can budget for anything against Barcelona, in terms of points.
"Hopefully you can put in a performance and maybe get something out of it with a huge amount of luck, I suppose, and good play but obviously the Benfica away game and Spartak will be more significant for us.
"Four points is a great platform, though, and whether we qualify or not it doesn't really matter, it is the experience these players are getting.
"We want to qualify obviously but we know it is going to be a tough task to do that."
