David Templeton will not be appealing against a two-match suspension handed to him by the Scottish Football Association.
The Hearts winger has been charged with violent conduct during a derby duel with Hibernian.
The SFA have informed Templeton that he must serve the ban immediately,
He was issued with a notice of complaint for allegedly kicking out at Hibs defender James McPake.
The game concerned ended 1-1, with Templeton completing the 90 minutes.
He will, however, sit out Hearts' next two fixtures after accepting his punishment.
