Aberdeen have completed the signing of former Scotland international defender Gary Naysmith after he impressed on trial.

Aberdeen have completed the signing of former Scotland international defender Gary Naysmith after he impressed on trial.
The 33-year-old left-back has spent the summer looking for a club after being released by Huddersfield at the end of last season.
Naysmith was asked to join the Dons on their recent tour of Germany by manager Craig Brown, who handed him his first Scotland cap 12 years ago against the Republic of Ireland.
The experienced defender went on to win another 45 caps, his last coming in the 2-1 win over Iceland in a World Cup qualifier in 2009.
The former Everton defender becomes Brown's third signing of the summer, joining new boys Jonny Hayes and Niall McGinn and will go straight into the squad for their SPL opener against Celtic on Saturday.
Brown stated earlier this week that he was looking to hand Naysmith a contract until January, with the incentive to earn an extension until the end of the campaign.
Naysmith began his senior career with Hearts in 1996 before joining Everton four years later in a £1.7million deal.
After playing more than 100 games for the Toffees, he joined Sheffield United, ahead of moving to the Terriers in 2010 for a couple of years.
