Celtic are to play Inter Milan in a pre-season friendly as part of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations.
The game will stir memories of Celtic's most famous night, when they beat Inter to become the first British side to win the European Cup in 1967.
That side were dubbed 'The Lisbon Lions' after their exploits in the Portuguese capital, and were famously all born within a 30-mile radius of Parkhead.
The friendly takes place on 28th July, and Celtic boss Neil Lennon is relishing the chance to fine-tune his preparations for the new SPL season against high-calibre opponents
"History is something to respect and to cherish and we are delighted therefore to be celebrating 125 years of Celtic in such a manner," he told the club's official website.
"The match will be a magnificent event where we welcome some top players to Glasgow and, of course, honour those who have played such an important role in Celtic's past.
"It is magnificent that Celtic is able to bring such a big name to Scottish football and I am sure this will be an occasion which our supporters, across many generations, will wish to experience."
