The 22-year-old has joined the SPL outfit initially until the end of the season with a further two-year option.
He was latterly at FC Dender in his home country and was previously at Charlton and West Ham, while also enjoying loan spells at Leicester and Sheffield Wednesday.
He becomes Craig Brown's fifth and final signing this month after the capture of Russell Anderson, Mark Reynolds, Stephen Hughes and Gavin Rae.
