McKeown and Fisher commit until 2015

Kilmarnock youngsters Rory McKeown and Gary Fisher have signed new contracts with the club until 2015. Northern Irish full-back McKeown, 18, who joined on a year's deal in the summer after being released from Ipswich, has played 13 times for the Rugby Park outfit. Meanwhile, Fisher, 19, has come through the midfield ranks at the club and made his breakthrough last season. Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels is pleased that the promising youngsters have committed their futures and believes it is a sign of the good work going on at the club. He told the Daily Record: "We are producing a conveyor belt of younger players on four-year contracts that have incentives in there because we are building for the future." Killie will be looking to bounce back from their 6-3 humbling at the hands of Inverness when they take on Hibernian after the international break next Saturday.
