Jamaica winger happy with the style of his new club

Omar Daley hopes to rediscover the type of form that made him so coveted earlier in his career following his move to Motherwell. The Jamaica international will link up with his former manager Stuart McCall who he played under during a coruscating spell at Bradford that had many scouts flocking to Valley Parade. Daley left the Yorkshire club at the end of last season and has just managed to secure a two-year deal with Motherwell and is poised to make his debut on Saturday against St Johnstone. And the enigmatic winger has been instantly impressed by the set-up and team-mates at his new club.

Pass

"It's a good team, the way they pass the ball about. That's the way Stuart likes his teams to play. "He gave me the confidence to go out and play my best for Bradford. I want to repeat that." McCall knows that the signing of Daley does come with some kind of risk but it is one he feels is worth taking if he can get him back playing to his old level.
Championship
"There were times he had the sort of form where you thought he could have gone on to play in the Championship," he said. "Unfortunately, when he was flying and we were flying, he got a bad knee injury which meant he was out for nine months, which basically stopped us getting promoted and curtailed his career a bit. "He is certainly an exciting prospect. Like all wingers he can be inconsistent and infuriating at times, but on the other toss of a coin he can be a match-winner. "If he can reach the form he did before his injury I'll be more than delighted."
